Microsoft held conferences in Toronto with 16.000 participants and among chosen partners from all around the ADD from Slovenia presented oneself with its use cases and innovations.
This week Toronto is hosting Microsoft world partner conference with 16.000 participants from Microsoft partner companies. ADD from Ljubljana, Microsoft Slovenia partner of the year 2016 has a special role at the conference. ADD was chosen to be part of one of the panels at the conference.
Andrej Hudoklin, ADD representative that was present at the conference told: “At the panel my contribution was about emphasizing about the importance of homogenising of enterprise ready BI and self-service BI. Self-service BI is now widely accessible end user, since there are many different tools. Microsoft also simplified possibility of creating of analytical models with Power BI so business users can very quickly alone prepare analytical model they need and enables them to create of report and analyses. In the long run such model introduces challenge, since business semantics start to double or. multiplicate with creating of more analytical models. Because of lack of central management at analytical model inconsistency can occur. Therefore, traditional (Enterprise ready) approach, that successfully solves this problem, is still being used. I think establishing of a central data warehouse, central analytical models above them and clear concept/methodology for self-service BI is critical to keep consistency. In the future Microsoft also plans to reduce mismatch between both approaches to homogenise these models – they would be the first on the market with this kind of solution.”
All these years ADD is always part of so-called Microsoft »early adapter« programs, engaged in testing of new versions SQL Server and in generally all Microsoft solutions for business intelligence (BI).
“ADD proved to be an excellent Microsoft partner company, that shows talent at ensuring of innovative solutions, that contribute to transformation of companies” told Gavriella Schuster, manager Worldwide Partner Group, Microsoft Corp.
Robert Trnovec, the managing director of company Microsoft Slovenia, congratulated ADD and expressed ADD’s exceptional effort to help companies with their digital transformation, and added: »All year round we monitored continuous effort of ADD to reach more and better, therefore the award is more than justified.«
