The use of wood instead of aluminum, combined with IoT sensors, supports a sustainable facade design. Smart facades contribute to enhancing the energy efficiency of buildings, which are major energy consumers in the European Union. The Slovenian company ADD plays a crucial role in developing the data platform that monitors and analyzes data through sensors, algorithms, and artificial intelligence.
